Throwing, Decorating and Glazing Bowls

This page will house a series of videos that I have put together to demonstrate some important techniques I use in producing porcelain bowls. I hope it will be helpful for students and of interest to anyone who wants to learn more about me or the porcelain making process.

The first video in this instalment is a 12 minute video where I demonstrate how to throw bowls off the hump. This is a great technique that is both productive and fun. I said a few more words about bowls on my blog.

The second and third video illustrates trimming and decorating the bowl. A few more comments about these videos on the blog.
